Bio
These battle hardened cats are no strangers to the Australian punk scene, hailing from previous Sydney bands such as Lungs, Kiai Academy, and Infringement. With every cry, they scratch at the surface of a world that is often unfair, and full of broken promises. Yet, like the toughest alley cats, they find strength in their wounds, channeling their frustrations into a sound that’s fierce, unfiltered, and impossible to ignore.
Formed in late 2024, Trauma Cats played their first show in an abandoned bank. It was dusty, and so were the crowd. But not many bands get to have such a unique debut performance.
The band's sound has been compared to the likes of Jawbreaker, Samiam, and Hot Water Music.
The members are: Anthony Dang (vocals/guitar), Nuno Meida (bass), and Tom Alexander (drums).
